Professional liability insurance
Professional liability insurance is held with R + V Allgemeine Versicherungen AG, Voltastraße 84, 60486 Frankfurt am Main. The territorial scope of the insurance cover includes services in the member states of the European Union and meets the requirements of § 51 of the Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO). Our sum insured covers the minimum scope of insurance in accordance with § 51 BRAO.
Bar association and admission
All lawyers at KEDAK. Kanzlei für Unternehmensrecht. are admitted to practice in the Federal Republic of Germany. The competent bar association is the Bar Association for the Higher Regional Court District of Munich, Corporation under Public Law, Tal 33, 80331 Munich (www.rak-muenchen.de). The Munich Bar Association is also the competent supervisory authority. The professional titles of the professionals were awarded to them in the Federal Republic of Germany. The relevant professional regulations include the Federal Lawyers’ Act (BRAO), the Professional Code of Conduct for Lawyers (BORA), the Specialist Lawyers’ Act (FA), the Lawyers’ Fees Act (RVG), the Court Costs Act (GKG), the Code of Conduct for Lawyers in the European Community (CCBE) and the Act on the Activities of European Lawyers in Germany (EuRAG). These regulations can be viewed at the Munich Bar Association and on the homepage of the German Federal Bar Association, www.brak.de, under the heading “Lawyers/Professional Law“.
